A great way to start your day off is with a filling breakfast, specifically, this Chocolate Oatmeal recipe! Vegan and dairy-free, this creamy and chocolatey oatmeal is super easy to make, only taking about 10 minutes to create! This recipe is also free of gluten and contains a superfood kick from our 100% Organic Cacao Powder. Additionally, the oatmeal is naturally sweetened with maple syrup and balanced with our earthy cacao powder, containing no soy or oil. - 1 cup oats
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup water
- 6 teaspoons cacao powder
- 3 teaspoons maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- Combine all ingredients in a small pot.
- Transfer the pot to a stove. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thick and creamy (about 6-8 minutes). Stir the oatmeal often to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
- Transfer oatmeal to a bowl and add your favorite toppings, such as fruit, granola, or nuts, and enjoy!
