Chocolate Oatmeal

A great way to start your day off is with a filling breakfast, specifically, this Chocolate Oatmeal recipe! Vegan and dairy-free, this creamy and chocolatey oatmeal is super easy to make, only taking about 10 minutes to create! This recipe is also free of gluten and contains a superfood kick from our 100% Organic Cacao Powder. Additionally, the oatmeal is naturally sweetened with maple syrup and balanced with our earthy cacao powder, containing no soy or oil. Add your favorite fruit, nuts, or flakes to the finished product and enjoy a heart-healthy breakfast!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 teaspoons cacao powder
  • 3 teaspoons maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

 

Steps:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small pot.
  2. Transfer the pot to a stove. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thick and creamy (about 6-8 minutes). Stir the oatmeal often to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  3. Transfer oatmeal to a bowl and add your favorite toppings, such as fruit, granola, or nuts, and enjoy!
