Chocolate Covered Cherries

Last week we celebrated Chocolate Covered Cherry Day and shared some cherries, deliciously coated in our rich dark chocolate. Here's how we did it! This is the perfect dessert for keeping your resolutions in the new year while still treating yourself! Cherries are sweet, juicy, and full of nutrients while our dark chocolate is packed with fiber, protein, and antioxidants. You can enjoy this small treat without breaking your New Year's Resolutions! It only takes a few minutes to elevate cherries into the perfect vegan snack that also makes a great Valentine’s Day (or Galentine’s Day) treat!

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Over medium heat, bring a pot full of water to a simmer
  2. Place a metal bowl on the water to create a bain-marie and allow the chocolate to melt (it may help to break the bar apart before melting!)
  3. Now comes the fun part! With a thin skewer dip the cherries into the melted chocolate and allow them to cool (speed up the process by sticking them in the fridge or freezer!)
  4. Once the chocolate is solid, enjoy!
