Vegan Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup of applesauce
  • ½ organic cane sugar (or dark brown sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of KakaoZon 85% Dark Chocolate Chips


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F
  2. Mash the banana
  3. Add the applesauce, sugar, and vanilla extract and blend with banana until well combined
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until the cookie dough is thick and holds its shape
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Using a tablespoon or cookie scooper make small balls of cookie dough
  7. On a pan covered with parchment paper place cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart
  8. Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown
  9. Wait until cool and serve
