Vegan Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ cup of applesauce
- ½ organic cane sugar (or dark brown sugar)
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 3 cups of almond flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of KakaoZon 85% Dark Chocolate Chips
Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F
- Mash the banana
- Add the applesauce, sugar, and vanilla extract and blend with banana until well combined
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until the cookie dough is thick and holds its shape
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scooper make small balls of cookie dough
- On a pan covered with parchment paper place cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart
- Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown
- Wait until cool and serve
